Start the week with a little room for community
Good morning, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Seal Beach, and Cypress. A new week is a chance to put a few good things on the calendar before it fills itself.
If voting is on your list, Orange County’s official schedule has all vote centers open today, Monday, November 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Election Day is tomorrow, with hours of 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Check the county’s locator for the place that works for you.
Looking beyond Tuesday, save Sunday, November 8 for the Los Alamitos Museum’s 50th celebration. The free celebration starts at 2 p.m. at 11062 Los Alamitos Blvd., with museum tours, speakers, and refreshments.
Here’s a small invitation of our own: think of someone who has helped you understand this neighborhood. A longtime resident, a teacher, a shopkeeper, or a volunteer may have a story the rest of us would love to hear.
